Great excitement in the Botanical Garden of the University of Vienna. After three years the Amorphophallus titanum blooms for the first time in Vienna. Of course I had to see this rare event on the spot.

Photographing water drops doesn't have to be difficult. With my new control device, it's easy to take beautiful drop on drop photos thanks to the touch screen. Just plug in your camera, flash and valves and go.

Yesterday evening I was finally at the OMV refinery in Schwechat with a colleague. After a few rounds around the site, we finally found a side road with good visibility for after shots.

Until now I have hardly dealt with infrared photography. A few years ago, I made a few attempts with the D100, but the results were far from satisfactory. Nevertheless, I am now interested in how the D800 performs.

Here I present you my small tinkering project, with which drops on tropical photos are possible. You only need some electronics, an Arduino with software, valves, a Mariottes bottle and a lot of patience.

Once work with a really famous photographer. That's probably what many photographers dream of. Exactly this dream I have now fulfilled: A two-day nude workshop with Manfred Baumann! I would like to report on my experience here.
