Finally beautiful rings of acrylic for the clock! Perfectly polished and a real eye-catcher. With the new case it looks really pretty on the shelf. I think all the work was worth it. But of course there is potential for improvement.

From the idea to the product. Here I would like to introduce you to my designer table clock, which is now actually finished after a few weeks of development. It comes mostly from the 3D printer and is controlled by a Raspberry Pi.

The Pet Cemetery Vienna has been in existence since the end of 2011 and is the first in Vienna. Since then, over 500 animals have already been buried here. Visiting the cemetery, especially meeting Slobodan, was a very emotional experience for me.

This year I spent my summer vacation at the Hotel Schwarz Alm in the beautiful Waldviertel. Especially the peace and quiet did me a lot of good and I was able to really unwind for a few days.

A few years ago I received a small insect hotel as a gift. Since then it stands on my balcony in a dry and sunny place and waits for guests. The first ones are already there.

Guetzli is a new JPEG encoder from Google. It is supposed to create 35% smaller JPG images with similar quality than other programs. Of course I had to try this out right away.

All pelicans in the Tiergarten Schönbrunn were euthanized yesterday. They were found to be infected with the H5N8 avian flu virus and this measure was necessary to protect the remaining 800 or so birds. This news hurts me deeply.

The most beautiful photos are of no use if they gather dust uselessly on the hard drive. The company Saal Digital has provided me with two vouchers for a wall picture and a photo book so that I can test their products. Here now my experiences.

During a photo studio shoot, everything takes place in a few square metres. Therefore, dogs should at least know the basic commands. The best way to learn this is at dog school.
